The Ha Giang Loop is a 395km route from Ha Giang City, with most of the road bordering China. Travel by motorbike through stunning mountains, small villages, and meet friendly locals who welcome you with open arms. 3 Days 2 Nights

Day 1: Ha Giang City → Quan Ba → Yen Minh → Dong Van Town (135km)
  • 8:30 AM — Breakfast, then start the Ha Giang Loop journey
  • Check in at KM0, Bac Sum Pass, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, twin mountains
  • 12:30 — Lunch at Yen Minh town after Can Ty Pass, Van Chai cliff
  • Afternoon — Tham Ma Pass, Pho Cao village, Sung La valley, Lung Cam village, "Pao's House," Tam Giac Mach fields
  • 16:30 — Visit the Vuong family mansion (King of the Hmong)
  • Evening — Dinner and free time at Dong Van old town night market
Day 2: Dong Van → Ma Pi Leng Pass → Nho Que River → Du Gia
  • 8:30 AM — Visit the Happiness Road, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Nho Que River
  • Walk the Sky Path, see the panoramic views from the top of the pass
  • Boat ride on Nho Que River — highest Tu San canyon in Southeast Asia
  • 12:30 — Lunch at Meo Vac Town, then continue to Du Gia
  • 17:00 — Arrive at Du Gia homestay, dinner with Tay cuisine and "happy water" (local corn wine)
Day 3: Du Gia → Duong Thuong → Lung Tam → Ha Giang City
  • 8:30 AM — Walk around village, bathe in Du Gia waterfall
  • Visit Duong Thuong valley, Lung Tam weaving village
  • Lunch at Tam Son town, return to Ha Giang by ~4:00 PM
  • Shower, rest, and take the bus back to Hanoi

4 Days 3 Nights

Day 1: Ha Giang City → Quan Ba → Yen Minh
  • 8:30 AM — Breakfast, then start the journey
  • Check in at KM0, Bac Sum Pass, Quan Ba Heaven Gate, twin mountains, Lung Khuy Cave
  • Lunch in Tam Son Town
  • Afternoon — Can Ty Pass, beautiful spots, lonely trees, Van Chai cliff
  • 5:00 PM — Arrive Yen Minh, homestay, dinner and rest
Day 2: Yen Minh → Tham Ma Pass → Lung Cu → Dong Van Town
  • 8:30 AM — Tham Ma Pass, Pho Cao village, Sung La valley
  • 10:00 AM — Vuong family mansion (King of the Hmong)
  • 2:00 PM — Lung Cu flag pole (northernmost point of Vietnam), Chinese border, Lo Lo Chai village
  • Evening — Dinner and Dong Van old town night market
Day 3: Dong Van → Ma Pi Leng Pass → Nho Que River → Du Gia
  • 8:30 AM — Happiness Road, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Nho Que River
  • Walk the Sky Path, panoramic views from the top
  • Boat ride on Nho Que River — Tu San canyon
  • 12:30 — Lunch at Meo Vac, then ride to Du Gia through endless valleys
  • 17:00 — Du Gia homestay, Tay cuisine dinner and "happy water"
Day 4: Du Gia → Duong Thuong → Lung Tam → Ha Giang City
  • 8:30 AM — Village walk, Du Gia waterfall
  • Visit Duong Thuong valley, Lung Tam weaving village
  • Lunch at Tam Son, return to Ha Giang by ~4:00 PM
  • Shower, rest, take the bus back to Hanoi
